Anyway, it was fun. Mostly we did FWCC (front wrap cross carry) and ring sling demos, as they're a great solution for new mums who are intimidated by ALL. THAT. FABRIC. and feel a bit scared of strapping their tiny new babe into a soft structured carrier that seems a bit industrial.
The best part? BabyMumma has given me a gorgeous Natibaby Milky Way ring sling in the Violet Dreams colorway to give to one of you lovely people. This is a 100% cotton which will soften very quickly and be lovely to use with little babies, but it's sturdy enough for your toddler as well. Click HERE to enter - you only have three days!
Is this where we comment for the ring sling? That purple is to die for!
ReplyDeleteI like the simplicity of the ring slings... you don't have to learn different wraps, just how to tighten :)
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings. They're easy to use. They're easy to nurse in too. I currently have a Maya wrap but would love a second one for when one is being washed.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the simplicity and the beauty of that ring sling. I already carry my son on my hip. I would love the hands free help. =)
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of a ring sling for quick trips to the shops or preschool drop off/pickup. I would love to try one.
ReplyDeleteI like ring slings because they are perfect for any age: snuggling up with a newbie or for the toddler that constantly wants to go up & down.
ReplyDeleteI've had RS love since my daughter was 5 months old. She's loved being snuggled on my hip, even to this day at 21 months.
ReplyDeletelove this color!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous ring sling.
ReplyDeleteRing slings were my first real introduction to babywearing and I find myself turning to them again and again because they're so quick and easy. I don't have to figure out what to do with the second tail while I'm tightening the first, or have it slip out from between my knees or anything like that. Yet still snuggly and I feel like we get a more comfortable customizable fit than we do with our buckle carrier. :)
ReplyDeleteIve never had a ring sling. Im so excited!
ReplyDeleteMy facebook and rafflecoptor are under Joei Tyra
DeleteI love ring slings because they are so easy and quick. It's a must to keep one in the car at all times!
ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law is due in 5 weeks. This would be PERFECT for her!
ReplyDeleteI love the color of this RS!
ReplyDeleteDon't have one, but would love to try a rs! :)
ReplyDeleteHuge fan of ring slings! My little J is not so little anymore though and our current one is not cutting it! Love this!
ReplyDeleteI'm due with my first baby in 3 1/2 weeks, and just learned I'm going to have a c-section. A friend recommended I get a RS for the first couple of weeks as I heal. I've never wrapped before, but she said that a RS would be much more comfortable than carrying or using some of the tighter stretchy wraps meant for little squishes. So...I'm looking :)
ReplyDeleteI have tried a rs and love it so much. It is absolutely perfect for quick outings, wedding, dinners, etc. N look at the nati Milky way, simply gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love my ring sling. It's small enough to keep in my diaper bag so I can pull it out whenever I need it! I totally need to learn more carries, though.
ReplyDeleteI loaned my ring sling to my gorgeous who never carried before but was going to the airport and her first flight with bubs. She loved it so much she asked to keep it, with much love and hesitation I said yes and it was the best decision but I miss it a lot
ReplyDeleteA mama let me borrow her ring sling when my daughter was itty bitty. I loved it! Now that she is 13 months, I would love to actually own one :)
ReplyDeleteI love how versatile ring Slings are. I use the same one for my 23lb32in 1yr old that I do for my 40lb40in 2yr old. Love love them!
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings because they are easy to use for first time mommies. I think that the support that the locking rings provides allows me to experiment with it without the fear of the sling coming undone suddenly.
ReplyDeleteWould love the rs thank you
ReplyDeleteI have not yet had a RS so would love to win it for my first RS. I like the poppability of a RS :)
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of a ring sling!! Easy on and easy off, quick to pop bub in and out, and great to adjust snugly for a nice safe fit for even a teeny baby.
ReplyDeleteI love how they cradle the baby to you like a snuggly hug!
ReplyDeleteI love how easy ring slings are. You just throw over your shoulder tighten and go.
ReplyDeleteRingslings are great for up and down toddlers and so easy for neebies very versatile
ReplyDeleteRingslings are the most versatile carrier in my opinión :)
ReplyDeleteI'm just starting to get into babywearing and I wish there were a group like yours near me!

ReplyDeleteLove ring slings!! So easy and quick, perfect for baby snuggles and quick toddler up and downs.
ReplyDeleteRing slings are the first carrier I used with my new baby 8 years ago. I've sent so many to live with new babies. This one is so very lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, to be able to juggle holding my baby whole getting things done around the house AND looking like a movie star in this lovely? Wow!
ReplyDeleteRing slings are great because of their simplicity and convenient use. They are perfect for a quick trip to the store, and functional for nursing your little one on the go!
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings because they are the ultimate convenience and easy enough for even a novice to use!
ReplyDeleteRing slings are the best! I especially love them for new mamas--easy to learn how to use, easy to put on and take off, and they make discrete breastfeeding a breeze. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI want a quick up and down for my new little one
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings because they are "easy on, easy off". :)
ReplyDeleteQuick uppies for grandma. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm new to the world of RS but I just borrowed a friends and LOVED IT!
ReplyDeletelove RS, so easy to use!
ReplyDeleteMy very first wrap was a WCRS, and it is what sold me on babywearing! So easy to use and convenient for a new wrapper and for quick trips into the store!
ReplyDeleteRing slings are perfect for the newborn phase and come back into play during the toddler phase!
ReplyDeleteI love RS. So quick and still comfy.
ReplyDeletei have yet to use one but would really really love to try one!
ReplyDeleteQuick and easy.
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings because they simple to use and easiest for a quick run somewhere, or if your baby needs to get up and down often. Easiest to breastfeed in too I think.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE ring slings. They're so easy, but they're also nice and supportive, even with my almost two year old!
ReplyDeleteEasy to use :) Quick to put on!
ReplyDeleteThe #1 reason I love ring slings is because they are so easy to nurse in. I can nurse in a woven and mai tei but it's a little more difficult and we've mastered it in a ring sling. I also love how fast and easy they are to get baby in and out because we are always on the go. :)
ReplyDeleteI am new to baby wearing and am yet to try a ring sling (a lack of finance prevents me from buying one) but they seem so much quicker to use than woven wraps. I love our woven but my LO is getting so much more involved with the world now and likes to be passed around so I think a ring sling would be a lot more convenient. :)
ReplyDeleteI love how easy ring slings are to use especially with an older child who wants up and down often. They are also great for quick trips in and out of the car while running errands.
ReplyDeleteThe ease of getting a baby/toddler in and out of a carrier is so appealing especially when you're in a hurry.
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity and that you can carry even a toddler comfortably:)!
ReplyDeleteI love how easy it is to get your child into the ring sling, great for when you're on the go and you dont have to mess around with a more complicated wrap.
ReplyDeleteI think this would be so helpful with my dd who has just entered the independent stage and constantly wants to be up down. Would also help for the nightmare of the grocery store when she wants in and out of the cart. Thanks. Keeping fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteI love the poppability!
ReplyDeleteI love the easy in and outs
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings - so simple with newborns and small bubs; and great for lots of up and down and boobing with an almost walking infant. Also great for 2.5yr olds who are heavier and want big cuddles :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a ring sling, but have loved my wrap and mei tai. Would love to have one for baby #2 on the way!
ReplyDeleteI love how pretty they are :)

I would LOOOOOVE a ring sling for my my little one! The fact that it'spurple just makes it that much better :D
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous...and simple for that everyday carry!
ReplyDeleteRingslings are so versatile, the fact that you can carry a baby from birth to toddlerhood in the same sling is brilliant. If my second little man is anything like my first (who walked at 9 months) I'm going to find a ringsling invaluable for the pick me up put me downs that are inevitable with a mobile baby. Also that purple colour is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGreat for toddler ups & downs!
ReplyDeleteI love how easy they are to nurse in while out and about!
ReplyDeleteSo easy for in and out/up and down!
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings because they are so easy to slip on and carry baby close. Also they are the most comfy to nurse in!
ReplyDeleteI have wanted to try a ring sling.
ReplyDeleteI'm new to woven wraps but an oldie to babywearing. i am due in June with number 4 and totallyexcited to learn about woven's and babywearing!
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings because they are so easy to use especially for baby wearing beginners!!
ReplyDeleteI love ring sling because it's easy to nurse in, baby is close to your heart at all time and it is fast, easy and comfy!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings because they are so compact to carry, and right now I'm toddlerwearing, which means lots of ups and downs. They are so easy to nurse in, and my little one can stay close to me and see everything that's going on from my level in a sling.
ReplyDeleteRing slings are a beautiful and special way to wear your baby!!
ReplyDeleteRing slings are so quick to put on and take off! They are wonderful for quick errands!
ReplyDeleteRing slings are great for my wife when she takes our son to school because she can carry the baby in the ring sling instead of carrying the infant car seat.
ReplyDeleteI love carrying my babies. it makes life so much easier and me and my little ones so much happier!
ReplyDeleteI love ring slings! They're simple to use!
ReplyDeleteI love Ring Slings because they're quick, easy and GREAT for squishies :)
ReplyDeleteI like ring slings because they are beautiful like wraps, but easier to use!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this chance!! My girl outgrew her only carrier. I miss being able to wear her! <3
hey hey. so my best friend enabled me. Yeah. She's pretty amazing. I used a commercially available carrier to carry my first (sub optimally) a gifted but short life-span sling to carry my 2nd and am currently enjoying the 3rd baby wearing experience by way of SUPER COMFY ring sling gifted by said bestie. Love the ease and beauty of it, and am enjoying having my littlest one close and snug.
ReplyDeleteLove the ring sling, the purple is beautiful! Super easy to use aswell
