Presenting... Pellicano Popart Crispy! Review and... GIVEAWAY!

Since this funky bright wrap is going out to one of you lovely people, we haven't given it a HUUUUGE workout here, but I can say a few things about it.

It's light. A size 4 folded into my tote easily and when the demands of "UP!" became uproarious (see those tired toddler eyes?), we managed a nice FWCC TUB without much worry. At 250gsm, Popart Crispy is bang in the mid-weight of wraps.
The weave feels quite dense and smooth in hand, but wraps thin, very pliable and easy to tighten strand by strand. I was surprised at how well it did with 12kgs of toddler in front, since it feels like more of a 'baby' wrap.

Of course there was an ulterior motive for being up...
Popart is pretty rock-steady. Not a lot of bounce or grip. Quite easy for a novice wrapper to gather up and put in place, and the high-contrast design (stripes, but not the boring kind!) makes following a rail simple. I like the whimsy of this design and I'll be watching Pellicano with interest to see what else they come up with - their Zamira line is particularly eye-catching ;)

Now, who would like to score this size 4 for their very own? Don't be shy...

  1. I would love to try a 4 for a kangaroo! I love a FWCC for a front carry but would love to learn some carries with a shorter wrap. I have primarily size 6 wraps and this would be great!!

  28. I only have a size 6 right now, but I'd LOVE a 4 to do hip carries without miles of tails and for RRR with a single candy cane chest belt (right now I use the extra tail to double it and it looks sooooooo awkward!).

  58. I don't have size 4, because I only have a ringsling so far... Would looove to win this beautiful wrap for my nearly 18 mo little boy! We'll even have to learn how to wrap haha, but I would love to! :-D

    ReplyDelete
  59. I could really use a sz 4, it would be perfect for one of my favourite carries: the Semi-cross carry. I can manage with a shorter but a sz 4 would be better and allow me breastfeed in it!

    ReplyDelete
  60. We don't have a wrap yet, although I hope we have one soon. I love the functionality and closeness they provide, but honestly, it's the beauty of them that has drawn me to want one so badly.

    ReplyDelete
  61. My favourite carry with a size 4 is the "enveloppé croisé" but I don't know how to tell it in English :p

    ReplyDelete
  62. Reinforced ruck is my go to with a 4 :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  64. have yet to use a woven wrap (much less a 4), so I would have to experiment with holds!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Baby and I both love poppins hip carry as he can still look around and be in a place where we can give kisses still and hugs.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I would love to try a shorter wrap as I always use a size 6 and this wrap with its funky bright colors would be perfect!

    ReplyDelete
  74. In all honesty, this would be my first wrap if I won... But I'd love to try a Ruck or a Hip carry :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. Never used a 4, but I would use it for Ruck TT.

    ReplyDelete
  76. At the moment our favourites with a four are kangaroo tub, and robins hip carry...also have been working on a ruck :-) sometimes, the best thing we do with a four is wrap ourselves on the couch with it esp with the poor mite teething and needing cuddles :-)

  77. We haven't ventured very far, we typically do a FWCC. I'd like to try a Rebozo with this wrap though!!

    ReplyDelete
  88. A front cross tub is all I've tried with a 4,so I guess it's a fave.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I am still learning how to wrap, but my favorite so far is the one I saw in a you tube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHdrlj6aBuo . It is a back carry. I have a wrap but it is just a little too short to do this. Maybe it's a 3. I end up having to tie with the fringe and have to have help to do that. Winning a sz 4 wrap would be great. Thanks!
